Meetings

The exchange of ideas and results is important to the success of the International Nanotechnology and Society Network (INSN). The inaugural meeting of the INSN took place January 26th-28th, 2005 at Arizona State University.  The second organizational meeting was held October 17, 2005 in London.  In March 2006, the third meeting and the public launch of the network was done at the World Forum on Science and Civilization in Oxford.  The meeting agendas and workshop summaries for these meetings can be found here.

The next meeting will piggyback on the EEAST meeting in Lausanne in August 2006. In November 2006 the 4S meeting in Vancouver may include a roundtable lead by INSN members and will be followed by a Network meeting. In addition, there is investigation into the possibility of a research meeting of the entire Network to be held in Brazil towards the end of December 2006 or the beginning of January 2007.
